Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma Smash Centuries in Guwahati ODI

India’s opening pair of Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma produced a sensational batting display in the second ODI against West Indies in Guwahati. Gill smashed his 11th ODI century off just 62 balls, hammering 10 fours and five sixes. The century came during India’s daunting chase of 406 and marked Gill’s second consecutive ODI hundred.

Rohit Sharma also registered a brilliant century, reaching the landmark in 72 balls with 10 fours and six sixes. It was his 35th ODI hundred, while he also completed 12,000 ODI runs during the innings. The two openers put India in a commanding position early in the chase after West Indies posted 405/7.
