RR–CSK Blockbuster Trade Set to Shake Up IPL

Rajasthan Royals are preparing for a major shake-up ahead of IPL 2026, as they are set to trade long-time captain Sanju Samson to Chennai Super Kings in exchange for star allrounders Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran. Both franchises have spoken to the players, and an official expression of interest will be sent to the IPL governing council before the deal can be finalised.

Samson, who has been with RR for 11 seasons and recently expressed his desire for a change, could become a crucial addition for CSK. Meanwhile, Jadeja and Curran—key members of CSK’s core, especially Jadeja with his decade-long contributions and multiple title wins—may move to RR as part of one of the biggest trades in IPL history.
