Chennai Super Kings have only two matches remaining in the IPL 2026 season, including one final home game at Chepauk against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 18. Amid growing excitement among fans, speculation is mounting over whether legendary cricketer MS Dhoni could make a special appearance and announce his retirement after the match. Cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle added fuel to the rumours by hinting at a possible surprise during the much-awaited clash.
Meanwhile, former cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth criticised Anshul Kamboj’s bowling performance against Lucknow. Kamboj conceded 63 runs in just 2.4 overs, including eight sixes. Srikkanth said the pacer repeatedly bowled short deliveries to aggressive Australian batters, which proved costly. He pointed out that Kamboj appeared under pressure after conceding early boundaries and failed to change his bowling approach.
