

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) produced a dominant performance in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026, securing a direct berth in the final with a comprehensive 8-wicket victory over UP Warriors at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. After winning the toss, RCB captain Smriti Mandhana opted to bowl first. UP Warriors managed to post 143 for 8 in 20 overs, with Deepti Sharma top-scoring with 55 runs and Meg Lanning contributing 41. RCB’s bowling attack was led by Nadine de Klerk, who picked up an impressive four wickets, while Grace Harris chipped in with two crucial scalps to restrict the opposition.

Chasing a modest target of 144, RCB batters came out all guns blazing. Grace Harris played a sensational knock, smashing 75 runs off just 36 balls to take the game away from UP Warriors. Captain Smriti Mandhana provided solid support with an unbeaten 54 off 31 deliveries, guiding the team to victory in just 13.1 overs. RCB finished the chase at 147 for 2, sealing a thumping win and topping the points table with 12 points. Notably, RCB dominated UP Warriors in both their encounters this season, underlining their strong form heading into the WPL final.
