Ravi Shastri Backs Sanju Samson as Future India T20 Captain!

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri believes that Sanju Samson is a strong contender to lead Team India in T20 cricket. Shastri stated that Sanju possesses the leadership qualities and aggressive batting ability required to captain the side in the future. Having already led Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, Sanju is currently playing a key role for Chennai Super Kings this season.

Shastri also highlighted Sanju Samson’s performances in the previous T20 World Cup, where he emerged as India’s highest run-scorer and won the Player of the Tournament award. He dismissed concerns regarding Sanju’s consistency and praised his match-winning abilities. According to Shastri, the wicketkeeper-batter has already established himself as a serious contender in India’s future leadership race with his performances in international cricket and the IPL.
