Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Abbas produced a memorable performance in the second Test against England at Lord’s. He claimed five wickets for 57 runs in England’s second innings, helping dismiss the hosts for 208 and securing a place on the Lord’s Test Honours Board. Abbas has now become the eighth Pakistan bowler to achieve the five-wicket landmark at the iconic venue.

The five-wicket haul was Abbas’ first against England in Test cricket and his eighth overall in the format. He had already taken four wickets in England’s first innings earlier in the match. After England were bowled out for 208, Pakistan were set a target of 389 runs, but their chase got off to a difficult start as the top order lost early wickets.
