PV Sindhu elected as Chairperson of BWF Athletes Commission

Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu has been elected as the Chairperson of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Athletes’ Commission for the 2026–29 term. Along with this role, she will also serve as a member of the BWF Council.

Expressing her commitment, Sindhu said she has taken on the responsibility with a strong sense of duty and will represent athletes’ interests while acting as a bridge between players and administrators.

It may be noted that Sindhu has been serving as the BWF Integrity Ambassador since 2020, contributing to the promotion of ethics and transparency in international badminton.
