Indian star shuttler PV Sindhu has achieved a rare milestone in badminton. She became the first Indian woman to win 500 international matches in her career. During the 2026 Indonesia Masters, Sindhu defeated Denmark’s Line Hojmark in straight sets to reach this remarkable achievement.
In the history of women’s singles badminton, only five players have achieved this record so far. PV Sindhu now stands as the sixth player and has brought this historic glory for India in the women’s field.
