Prithvi Shaw and Aakriti Agarwal Reunite

Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw and actress influencer Akriti Agarwal have reportedly reconciled weeks after calling off their engagement. Akriti announced the development on Instagram, and Shaw also shared her post on his Instagram Story. She admitted that she had made a mistake by believing what others said about their relationship and ending the engagement without speaking directly to Shaw. After recently discussing their differences and understanding each other’s perspectives, the couple decided to reunite. Akriti also took responsibility for the emotional pain Shaw experienced because of her decision and urged fans to respect their privacy and avoid speculation about their personal lives.

Shaw and Akriti got engaged on March 8. In September, Akriti announced their separation, citing differences in their future goals. She has now revealed that they have decided to give their relationship another chance. Meanwhile, Shaw has been working to revive his cricket career after injuries and inconsistent performances kept him away from the national team. He moved from Mumbai to Maharashtra for domestic cricket and scored a double century against Chandigarh in the previous Ranji Trophy season. He has also made a promising start to the 2026–27 domestic season. With regular captain Ruturaj Gaikwad away on India A duty, Shaw is leading Maharashtra in their match against Services at Palam A Stadium in New Delhi. He scored 70 runs off 73 balls, including eight fours and one six, giving his team a solid start.
