

Velagapudi Pranavichandra has been appointed captain of the Hyderabad women’s team for the BCCI Senior Women’s T20 Tournament. The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) Women’s Selection Committee announced a 15-member squad on Tuesday. The tournament is scheduled to begin in Pune on October 26. Pranavi, who previously served as vice-captain of the Hyderabad team for three years, will now take charge as captain.
Pranavi has also represented the South Zone team in both T20 and multi-day formats. She has further gained experience playing for Barbados in the Caribbean Premier League and for Erling Club in the UK. With her domestic and overseas cricket experience, Pranavi will lead Hyderabad as the team looks to put up a strong performance in the upcoming tournament.
