Parul Chaudhary Adds Another Asian Games Medal

Indian runner Parul Chaudhary has added another medal to her tally at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. She won bronze in the women’s 5,000m event on September 28, clocking 15:14.61. This came a day after she secured bronze in the women’s 3,000m steeplechase, where she also set a new national record with a time of 9:08.67.

With the latest medal, Parul has continued her strong showing at the Asian Games. India’s medal tally has now reached 39, comprising four gold, 17 silver and 18 bronze medals. The country’s latest haul includes medals across athletics, shooting, squash, kabaddi and other disciplines as the Aichi-Nagoya Games continue.
