All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been released from India’s squad for the first Test against South Africa. He will instead join the India A team for the upcoming One-day series against South Africa A in Rajkot. The three-match series will be played from 13th to 19th November at the Niranjan Shah Stadium.

After completing the One-day series with India A, he will rejoin the Indian Test squad for the second Test, ensuring he remains part of the long-term red-ball plans.
