New Zealand Women's Cricket Team created history in women’s ODI cricket by achieving the highest successful run chase. In the second ODI against South Africa Women's Cricket Team, New Zealand chased down a massive target of 347 runs. South Africa had earlier posted 346 runs in their 50 overs, but New Zealand responded brilliantly by scoring 350 runs in 49.4 overs.
Star player Amelia Kerr played a match-winning innings, scoring an unbeaten 179 runs and guiding her team to victory. With this remarkable achievement, New Zealand surpassed the previous record held by India for the highest successful chase in women’s ODIs.
