A run-fest unfolded at the iconic Wankhede Stadium as Mumbai Indians chased down a massive target set by Lucknow Super Giants with authority. Nicholas Pooran’s explosive 63 off just 21 balls powered Lucknow to 228/5, setting a daunting target of 229. However, Rohit Sharma led from the front with a brilliant 84, while Rickelton smashed 83, as the duo stitched together a commanding century partnership that turned the game decisively in Mumbai’s favour.

The pair attacked relentlessly, shifting momentum within the first half of the innings. Later, Naman Dhir (23 not out) ensured there were no hiccups, sealing Mumbai’s third win of the season. Earlier, Mitchell Marsh (44) and Pooran dominated the Mumbai bowlers, while Markram (31*) and Himmat Singh (40*) provided a strong finish to take Lucknow past 200.
