Hasan Eisakhil, the 19-year-old son of Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi, has taken the cricketing world by storm with a sensational innings in an unofficial T20 match between Afghanistan XI and Uzbekistan. Opening the batting, Hasan smashed a breathtaking 28-ball century, making it one of the fastest hundreds in T20 cricket. He eventually scored 120 runs off just 34 balls, including 4 fours and 16 sixes, at a remarkable strike rate of 352.94, before retiring hurt due to discomfort.
Hasan and captain Imran Mir stitched together a massive 181-run opening partnership, helping Afghanistan XI post an imposing 323/7 in 20 overs. The young batter has already established himself in Afghanistan's domestic circuit, having played 4 First-Class, 14 List-A, and 38 T20 matches, with centuries in all three formats. He also represented Afghanistan A in the recent tri-series involving India and Sri Lanka. With performances like these, Hasan appears well on course to fulfill Mohammad Nabi's dream of playing international cricket alongside his son.
