France star Kylian Mbappe has created history in the FIFA World Cup by becoming the highest goal scorer in the tournament’s history. With his second goal against England, Mbappe took his World Cup tally to 22 goals, surpassing Lionel Messi’s record. With 10 goals in FIFA 2026, the French forward is also leading the Golden Boot race.
England’s thrilling victory over France also witnessed remarkable performances from Bukayo Saka and Jude Bellingham. Saka completed his hat-trick by converting a penalty in the 87th minute, giving England a 5-3 lead. France’s Ousmane Dembele scored in stoppage time, but Bellingham’s stunning goal in the 90+8th minute sealed England’s 6-4 win.
