Lingamaneni Anirudh to Lead Telangana Water Polo Team

The Telangana team for the Water Polo event at the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championship–2026 has been announced. The championship will be held from September 7 to 12 at the IDA Swimming Pool, Pipliyahana Square, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A total of 15 players have been selected for the Telangana Water Polo squad, with Lingamaneni Anirudh named as the team captain. Sports enthusiasts are hoping that the Telangana team will put up a strong performance at the national-level competition and bring recognition to the state.

The Telangana squad includes Lingamaneni Anirudh, Aravind Resham, B. Akshaj, Bandla Advaith, Katukojwala Bhuvan, Maddi Mohan Durga, Madhunala Abhinav, MD Azaan, Mohammed Abdur Rahman Siddiqui, Somanshu Bas, Pradiv Kadali, Shreyas Madhavaram, Shreyas Reddy Gali, Sri Akhil Chari Vishnuroju and Swaran Kankanala. The players are preparing to compete at the national level and showcase their skills in the Water Polo event.
