Lakshya Sen Gets a Shock at China Masters

Indian badminton star Lakshya Sen suffered an early setback at the China Masters. In the men’s singles Round of 32 on Wednesday, Sen was defeated by Canada’s Victor Lai in straight games. Lai won the match 21-14, 21-7, sending Lakshya Sen out of the tournament in the opening round.

Following the defeat, Lakshya Sen’s head-to-head record against Victor Lai in 2026 slipped to 1-3. This was also Lai’s third consecutive victory over Sen this year. The result brings Lakshya Sen’s campaign at the China Masters to an early end.
