The Kerala Cricket Association has revoked the three-year ban imposed on former India cricketer S. Sreesanth. The suspension had been imposed after Sreesanth allegedly made social media remarks that damaged the association's reputation. Following his public apology and expression of regret, the KCA decided to withdraw the ban while warning that any similar misconduct in the future would invite strict disciplinary action.
Earlier, Sreesanth had challenged the suspension before the Thiruvananthapuram Munsiff Court, but his petition was dismissed. He later submitted an official apology to the KCA, clarifying his remarks and expressing remorse. After reviewing the matter during a special general body meeting, the association decided to lift the ban, clearing the way for Sreesanth to continue as co-owner of the Aries Kollam Sailors franchise in the third season of the Kerala Cricket League (KCL).
