Young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi is making headlines with his explosive performances in the Indian Premier League. Following his impressive knock of 39 runs off just 14 balls against Mumbai, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has urged the Board of Control for Cricket in India to consider him for the national team without delay.
Pathan described Suryavanshi as a rare young talent, stating that such performances at the age of 15 in white ball cricket are exceptional. He recalled the youngster’s earlier statement about wanting to score big against Jasprit Bumrah and praised him for living up to that goal. Suryavanshi has been in great form this IPL season, including a stunning 52 off 17 balls against Chennai. Pathan believes early inclusion in Team India could help the youngster build a long and successful career.
