The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) has officially released the schedule for the fifth season of the Andhra Premier League (APL). The tournament, which has been gaining massive popularity among cricket fans across Andhra Pradesh, will commence on June 9. This season, the league will be conducted across three venues — Visakhapatnam, Kadapa, and Mangalagiri — with a total of 32 matches scheduled. Day-and-night matches will be played at all venues, adding more excitement for cricket lovers.
Visakhapatnam will host 11 matches from June 9 to 14, while Kadapa will stage 9 matches between June 17 and 21. The final phase, including the grand finale, will take place in Mangalagiri from June 24 to 30, featuring 12 matches. ACA has also allotted four days for player travel and rest. The tournament will be live-streamed on Jio Hotstar. ACA officials stated that APL continues to provide opportunities for emerging cricketers. IPL players such as Ricky Bhui, Bandaru Ayyappa, Tripurana Vijay, Paila Avinash, and Under-19 player Rashid are expected to be the major attractions this season. Special efforts are also being made to develop cricket infrastructure in Kadapa and Mangalagiri stadiums.
