IPL 2026 Auction: These Are the Favourites

A total of 355 players will test their luck in the IPL auction. The live auction will  broadcast on Star Sports and streamed on Jio Hotstar.
For 77 available slots, 355 players will compete.

The auction process will begin with the first 70 marquee players in the regular auction, followed by the accelerated auction, and finally a round for unsold players.

Key Players in the Five Marquee Sets :

Set 1 – Batsmen:
Devon Conway, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Cameron Green, Sarfaraz Khan, David Miller, Prithvi Shaw.
Cameron Green is expected to attract a big price.

Set 2 – All-rounders:
Gus Atkinson, Wanindu Hasaranga, Deepak Hooda, Venkatesh Iyer, Liam Livingstone, Wiaan Mulder, Rachin Ravindra.

Set 3 – Wicketkeeper-Batsmen:
Finn Allen, Jonny Bairstow, KS Bharat, Quinton de Kock, Ben Duckett, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Jamie Smith.
Quinton de Kock is likely to fetch a high bid.

Set 4 – Fast Bowlers:
Gerald Coetzee, Akash Deep, Jacob Duffy, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Matt Henry, Spencer Johnson, Shivam Mavi, Anrich Nortje, Matheesha Pathirana.

Set 5 – Spinners:
Ravi Bishnoi, Rahul Chahar, Akeal Hosein, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Maheesh Theekshana.
