A total of 40 players have placed themselves in the highest base-price category of INR 2 crore for the upcoming IPL auction. Only two Indians Venkatesh Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi feature in this elite bracket.
Australian all-rounder Cameron Green and David Miller have registered themselves as specialist batters and will be part of the first auction set.
Meanwhile, Quinton de Kock, Dunith Wellalage, and George Linde, who were absent from the longlist, have now been added to the final auction list, adding further intrigue to the event.
