Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) roared to a big win at their home ground, the Chinnaswamy Stadium, in IPL 2026. Tim David starred with an unbeaten 70, supported by Devdutt Padikkal’s quick 50, helping RCB post a massive total. The top-order collapse of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made it easier for RCB to dominate, with contributions from Srfraz Khan (50) and Prashanth Veer (43) ensuring a strong batting performance. Even Jamie Overton’s late 37 runs couldn’t turn the game around for CSK, handing them a third consecutive defeat.
RCB’s bowlers, led by Duffy and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, picked up three crucial wickets for just 30 runs, putting CSK under pressure early. Krunal Pandya (2-36) delivered a key over, dismissing two batters and further tightening RCB’s grip. Shivam Dubey’s brief 18 provided some resistance, but the combined efforts of Srfraz Khan and Impact Sub Karthik Sharma in hitting boundaries couldn’t prevent CSK from being restricted to 207, sealing a comprehensive victory for RCB.
