Sunrisers Hyderabad fans have received exciting news. Australian star bowler and key SRH player Pat Cummins, who has been out of the IPL due to injury, is likely to rejoin the team on April 17, according to reports. After defeating Rajasthan Royals at their home ground, the Hyderabad team has been in strong form. While debutant bowlers Prafull Hingane and Sakib Hussain have impressed with standout performances, Cummins’ return is expected to further strengthen the squad.
Due to injury, Pat Cummins has not played a single match this season so far. He is scheduled to undergo a fitness test in Australia on Wednesday and if he clears it, he is expected to join the Hyderabad squad soon. Although he missed the initial matches, he may once again take over captaincy duties. It is worth noting that under Cummins’ leadership, SRH reached the final in the previous season. In his absence, young player Ishan Kishan has been leading the team. So far, Hyderabad has played five matches, winning two of them and currently stands fourth in the points table.
