Chennai Super Kings have suffered another setback in IPL 2026 as veteran player MS Dhoni is likely to remain unavailable for more than two weeks. The update was revealed by CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad during the toss against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. This news comes as a disappointment for fans eagerly waiting to see Dhoni back on the field this season.
Dhoni, who has been a part of the IPL since its inception, is yet to play a match this season. While the CSK management initially stated that he would miss only the first two weeks, the delay now appears to be longer. With the tournament already underway, uncertainty continues around his return, adding pressure on the team that is still searching for its first win this season.
