In the IPL 2026 mini auction, young fast bowler Auqib Nabi from Jammu & Kashmir fetched an unexpectedly huge price. Entering the auction with a base price of ₹30 lakh, he was snapped up by Delhi Capitals for a massive ₹8.4 crore.

His bowling numbers in T20 cricket have been impressive. So far, Auqib Nabi has played 30 matches and picked up 36 wickets. Notably, he has maintained an economy rate of 7.88. The best bowling performance of his career stands at 4 wickets for 16 runs.
