England all-rounder Liam Livingstone was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for ₹13 crore at the IPL 2026 Auction in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, after SRH outbid Lucknow Super Giants. Livingstone had gone unsold in the first round before attracting renewed interest.
A proven performer in global T20 leagues, Livingstone is known for his explosive batting, with a career T20 strike rate of 145.06. He was part of Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s title-winning team in 2025, though he had a modest individual season, scoring 112 runs in eight innings and taking two wickets.
His white-ball form improved after the IPL, as he captained Birmingham Phoenix in the Hundred, scoring 241 runs and taking seven wickets. In the T20 Blast, he added 260 runs and six wickets, helping Lancashire reach the semifinals.
