IPL 2026 Auction: Rajasthan Royals Sign Ravi Bishnoi for ₹7.20 Crore

India’s young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi may still be in the early phase of his IPL journey, but he has already established a strong identity in a short span of time. Known as a specialist in bowling googlies, he has the ability to trouble even world-class batters. Recognising his talent, the Rajasthan Royals acquired him at the auction for ₹7.20 crore. With his quick leg-spin and disciplined line and length, Bishnoi has proven himself to be a potential match-winner.

After emerging as the highest wicket-taker in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, Bishnoi made his IPL debut the same year with Kings XI Punjab. He picked up 12 wickets in 14 matches during the 2020 season and followed it up with another 12 wickets in 9 matches in 2021. In 2022, he was drafted by the Lucknow Super Giants, where he became a key bowler during the powerplay and middle overs. In the 2025 season, he claimed 9 wickets in 11 matches and continued as Lucknow’s lead spinner across four seasons.
