Indian Shooters Shine at the Asian Games

India secured its second gold medal at the Asian Games on Friday, with shooters Suruchi Singh and Kamaljeet winning the 10m air pistol mixed team event. The Indian duo finished on top in the final with 484.6 points, setting a new Asian record in the process.

Suruchi and Kamaljeet maintained their lead through the final to beat South Korea, which won silver with 478.0 points. Iran claimed bronze with 415.8 points. India’s first gold at the Games came earlier through the women’s T20 cricket team, which defeated Sri Lanka in the final.
