

In Doha, Indian shooter Simraanpreet Kaur Brar clinched the gold medal at the ISSF World Cup Finals. In the women’s 25m pistol event, Simranpreet delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 41 points in the final to secure the top position. Another Indian shooter, Isha Singh, finished seventh with 15 points.
India continued its strong showing in the competition as Aishwary Pratap Singh won the silver medal in the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions final, scoring 413.3 points. With this achievement, Aishwary earned the rare distinction of winning medals across World and Continental Championships in shooting. He also qualified for the medal round by scoring 595 points in the qualification stage.
In the men’s 25m rapid-fire pistol event, Anish secured the silver medal with 16 points, while Vijayveer Sidhu narrowly missed out on a podium finish, ending in fourth place.
