

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 15-member Indian team for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand. Shubman Gill has been named as the captain, while Shreyas Iyer will serve as the vice-captain. After recovering from injury, Shreyas Iyer has made a return to the Indian team.
Senior pacer Mohammed Shami and Ruturaj Gaikwad have not been selected for this series. Hyderabad fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has earned a place in the squad again. The team also includes experienced players such as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, washington Sundar, along with young talents Harshit Rana, Prasidh Krishna, Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Nitish Kumar, Arshdeep Singh and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
The three-match ODI series will begin on January 11. The matches will be played across different venues in India.
