India-Pak match on Mahashivratri.. Special prayers in Ujjain for Team India's victory

Fans across the country are praying for Team India to win the high-voltage India-Pakistan match being held in Colombo as part of the T20 World Cup 2026. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, devotees and cricket fans performed special prayers and abhishekams at the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

Considering the India-Pak match to be a prestigious match, fans and players prayed to Baba Mahakala to overcome the pressure and perform at their best. Fans expressed their confidence that with the blessings of Lord Shiva on Mahashivratri, no one can stop Team India's victory.

A spiritual atmosphere prevailed in the temple even before the start of the match in Colombo, and devotees also prayed for Team India's victory during the Bhasma Aarti. It is noteworthy that in Ujjain as well as in many parts of the country, yagnas and havanas are being held for the victory of Team India.
