

Indian star shuttlers PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen are focusing on the India Open World Tour Super 750 badminton tournament. They are entering the competition with the goal of leveraging the home advantage and winning the prestigious title. It is worth noting that Saina Nehwal (2010), Kidambi Srikanth (2015), Sindhu (2017), Lakshya Sen, and the Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty pair (2022) have previously won the India Open title for India.
In the tournament, which begins on Tuesday, Sindhu will face Nguyen Linh (Vietnam), Malvika Bansod will play against Pai Yu (Chinese Taipei), and Tanvi Sharma will compete against Wang Yi (China) in the first round of the women's singles. In the men's singles, matches will be held between Lakshya Sen and Ayush Shetty, Srikanth and Tarun Manneppalli, and HS Prannoy and Lee Cheuk (Hong Kong). The Satwik-Chirag pair in men's doubles and the Gayatri Gopichand-Treesa Jolly pair in women's doubles will also begin their campaigns.
