

India clinched a thrilling 14-run victory over the West Indies in the third T20 International in Indore on October 11. Batting first, India posted 223 runs, powered by an explosive 69 off 30 balls from Abhishek Sharma and a quickfire 37 off 18 balls from Ishan Kishan. Tilak Varma contributed 28 runs, while Nitish Kumar Reddy added 21 to help India set a challenging target of 224.

Chasing 224, the West Indies managed 209 for seven in their 20 overs. Nicholas Pooran scored 42, Shimron Hetmyer made 43, and Sherfane Rutherford added 32, while Shamar Springer’s late hitting kept the contest alive. However, India’s bowlers held their nerve at crucial moments. Arshdeep Singh claimed three wickets, Naman Dhir took two, and Axar Patel and Nitish Kumar Reddy picked up one wicket each. With this win, India moved ahead 2–1 in the five-match series. The fourth T20I is scheduled for October 14.
