Jyothi Surekha Vennam, along with Taniparthi Chikitha Rao and Pritika Pradeep, powered India into the final of the women's compound team event at the Archery World Cup Stage 4 in Madrid, Spain, ensuring the country at least a silver medal. The Indian trio produced a composed performance in the semifinals, defeating South Korea's Kang Yeonseo, Park Yerin and Park Jungyun by 231-228.
With the victory, India has secured a place in the gold medal match scheduled for July 11, where the team will face Colombia. The result underlines India's growing dominance in compound archery, with Jyothi Surekha once again playing a pivotal role in the team's impressive campaign on the international stage.
