The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the Indian squad for the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026, which will be hosted by Namibia and Zimbabwe. The prestigious tournament is scheduled to take place from January 15 to February 6, 2026. Ayush Mhatre has been appointed as the captain of the Indian team, while Vihan will serve as the vice-captain. Notably, 14-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has recently grabbed headlines with his sensational performances, has also been included in the squad.
India will begin their campaign on January 15 with a match against the USA. The team has been placed in Group A alongside Bangladesh, New Zealand, and the USA. Having already won the Under-19 World Cup a record five times, Indian fans are eagerly hoping for their team to clinch a historic sixth title in this edition.
