IND vs SL: Kris Srikkanth Takes a Dig at Gambhir

Amid India’s dominance, former India cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth made a sarcastic observation about head coach Gautam Gambhir. Srikkanth said there was not much scope for intense strategic brainstorming in the Sri Lanka series because he considers the opposition relatively weak. He also remarked that Gambhir would be delighted after India’s recent victories over Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. At the same time, Srikkanth clarified that his comments were not intended as personal criticism and praised Gambhir as a good former player who understands the game well.
