

The ICC has officially announced the schedule for the 2027 ODI World Cup, which will be hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. The tournament begins on October 2 with a three-team Super Series in Namibia, while the Group Stage starts on October 7. India will open its campaign against Australia in Cape Town on October 7. The Men in Blue will then face Pakistan on October 10 in Johannesburg, Afghanistan on October 14, Qualifier A on October 17 and Zimbabwe on October 24.

Group A comprises India, Australia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and Qualifier A, while Group B features New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, England, Bangladesh and Qualifier B. The Super 7 stage will be played from October 25 to November 14. The semi-finals are scheduled for November 17 and 18, with the final set to be played in Johannesburg on November 21.
