The International Cricket Council (ICC) has taken disciplinary action against several players for violating the Code of Conduct during the Asia Cup. Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf has been handed a two-match suspension after accumulating four demerit points within a 24-month period. Additionally, 30% of his match fees from two games have been deducted.
Another Pakistani player, Farhan, has been issued one demerit point for his on-field behavior. Meanwhile, Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav faced a 30% fine on his match fee from the November 14th fixture and received two demerit points for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct.
The ICC emphasized that these penalties aim to uphold discipline and sportsmanship throughout international tournaments.
