Hockey India Names 15-Member Squad for Women's Youth Hockey5s Asia Camp

Hockey India has selected a 15-member Sub-Junior Women's squad for the national coaching camp ahead of the Women's Youth Hockey5s Asia Championship 2026. The training camp is being conducted at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy in Bhopal from July 4 to July 18 under the supervision of former Indian captain and Sub-Junior Women's chief coach Rani. The camp aims to prepare the team for the upcoming continental tournament in Muscat, Oman.

The selected players are receiving intensive coaching in technical skills, tactical awareness, fitness and the fast-paced Hockey5s format. Hockey India said the camp is part of its long-term vision to develop talented players at the grassroots level and strengthen India's junior and senior women's teams. The federation also acknowledged Madhya Pradesh's continued support in hosting national training camps.
