

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women created history by winning the WPL 2026 title, defeating Delhi Capitals Women by six wickets in a thrilling final held at the BCA Stadium, Vadodara, on February 5, 2026. Chasing a challenging target of 204 runs, RCB successfully reached 204/4 in 19.4 overs to lift the trophy for the second time, after their earlier triumph in 2024. Delhi Capitals had earlier posted a strong total of 203/4 in 20 overs, but failed to defend it in yet another final.
RCB captain Smriti Mandhana led from the front with a sensational knock of 87 runs off 41 balls, registering the fastest fifty in a WPL final. She shared a record-breaking 165-run partnership for the second wicket with Georgia Voll, who contributed 79 runs, marking the highest partnership for any wicket in WPL history. Radha Yadav sealed the victory with two boundaries in the final over. Despite notable performances by Jemimah Rodrigues (57), Laura Wolvaardt (44), and Chinelle Henry (35*) for Delhi, the team suffered its fourth consecutive final defeat.
