Harry Kane scored his 99th and 100th goals for Bayern Munich in his 104th game for the German champion as Bayern won 4-0 against Werder Bremen on Friday (September 26, 2025).
After Jonathan Tah's clever backheel opened the scoring for Bayern, Kane calmly converted a penalty in the 45th minute after being brought down by Marco Friedl. His second came midway through the second half, finishing clinically from a Luis Díaz assist to put Bayern 3-0 up. The England captain beamed with pride as teammates surrounded him to celebrate his landmark moment.
Even by Kane's own high standards, his start to the new season has been sensational. Including Friday’s brace, he now has 15 goals in just eight games for Bayern in the 2025–26 campaign, plus one for England in the recent international break against Serbia. His consistency and composure in front of goal continue to make him one of Europe’s most lethal strikers.
Kane’s quest for another hat trick this season ended when he was replaced by Nicolas Jackson in the 78th minute, receiving a standing ovation from the home fans. Konrad Laimer later completed the rout with Bayern’s fourth in the 87th minute, sealing a comfortable victory.
The result means Bayern maintain their perfect record with five wins from five games, extending their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table. Thomas Tuchel’s side will now shift focus to their upcoming Champions League clash against Pafos of Cyprus on Tuesday.
Bayern wore a special grey and green Oktoberfest-themed kit for the match, though it sparked mixed reactions from supporters. A section of fans displayed a large banner urging the club to stick to its traditional red and white colors. Despite the off-field protests, the atmosphere remained electric as Munich celebrated another night of Kane brilliance.
