In the IPL 2026 Match 52 held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Gujarat Titans registered a massive 77-run victory over Rajasthan Royals with an all-round performance. Rajasthan stand-in captain Yashasvi Jaiswal won the toss and chose to bowl first, but Gujarat batters came out aggressively and piled up a huge total. Gujarat Titans scored 229 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Captain Shubman Gill led the charge with a brilliant 84, while Sai Sudharsan contributed 55 runs. The opening pair once again delivered a century partnership and created an IPL record for the most century stands by a batting pair. Washington Sundar added a quick 37 runs, while Rahul Tewatia finished strongly with a rapid 14 runs.
Chasing a daunting target of 230, Rajasthan Royals came under pressure right from the start. Young batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi played an attacking knock of 36 runs, while Ravindra Jadeja fought with 38 runs, but the rest of the batting lineup failed to withstand Gujarat’s bowling attack. Rashid Khan produced a match-winning spell by taking four wickets and completely turned the game in Gujarat’s favor. Jason Holder picked up three wickets, while Kagiso Rabada claimed two wickets to dismantle the Rajasthan batting order. Rajasthan Royals were eventually bowled out for 152 runs in 16.3 overs.
Rajasthan Royals were led by Yashasvi Jaiswal in this match as regular captain Riyan Parag missed the game due to injury. However, Gujarat Titans proved too strong in all departments and secured a comprehensive victory. With this dominant win, Gujarat Titans further strengthened their position in the IPL points table.
