In IPL 2026, the Gujarat Titans have once again asserted their dominance. Chasing a massive target of 215 runs set by the Rajasthan Royals, they achieved a magnificent seven-wicket victory by reaching the target in just 18.4 overs while losing only three wickets. In this triumph, Captain Shubman Gill played a sensational innings, smashing a magnificent century to steer the team to victory.
Batting first, the Rajasthan Royals posted a total of 214 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a blistering innings, scoring 96 runs off just 47 balls. Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten on 45 runs, while Donovan Ferreira provided a late surge, scoring 38 runs off just 11 balls to help the team reach a formidable total. Among the Gujarat bowlers, Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder claimed two wickets each.
Setting out to chase the target of 215 runs, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill provided a brilliant start for Gujarat. By establishing a massive 167-run partnership for the first wicket, they completely turned the match in Gujarat's favor. While Sai Sudharsan scored 58 runs, Captain Shubman Gill emerged as the hero of the match by scoring 104 runs off just 53 balls. His innings included 15 fours and 3 sixes. With Rahul Tewatia scoring quick runs towards the end, Gujarat chased down the target with ease.
