Team India have received a boost ahead of their T20I series against Afghanistan, with young fast bowler Prince Yadav reportedly regaining full fitness. According to an Aaj Tak report, the pacer cleared his fitness tests at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. He is therefore expected to be available for selection for the Afghanistan series, which begins on September 13.
Prince suffered a thigh muscle injury while bowling in the second T20I against Zimbabwe in Harare and left the field after bowling 2.2 overs. He subsequently missed the third T20I and underwent rehabilitation at the Centre of Excellence. After impressing for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, Prince earned his opportunity with the senior Indian side. He has so far taken 13 wickets in three ODIs and six T20Is for India.
