New Zealand all rounder Glenn Phillips has once again stunned cricket fans with his extraordinary fielding skills. During the Caribbean Premier League 2026 clash between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders, Phillips produced a spectacular one handed catch near the boundary to dismiss Sunil Narine. Narine pulled a delivery from Dwaine Pretorius towards deep mid-wicket, but Phillips raced across, extended his right hand and completed a sensational grab.
Phillips himself appeared surprised after completing the catch, making the moment even more memorable. Guyana Amazon Warriors posted 185/5 in a rain affected contest that was reduced to 16 overs per side. Trinbago Knight Riders managed 172/7 in their revised chase, with Guyana winning by nine runs via the DLS method. Narine’s dismissal came for just one run, giving Guyana an early breakthrough.
Phillips is widely recognised for producing spectacular catches using one hand, diving or leaping to reach balls that appear almost impossible to grab. His latest effort quickly went viral after the CPL shared the footage on social media. With 112 catches in international cricket, Phillips continues to strengthen his reputation as one of the most exciting fielders in the game.
