Football Legend Kevin Keegan Passes Away

England football legend and former national team manager Kevin Keegan passed away at the age of 75 after battling Stage 4 cancer. His family confirmed that he breathed his last at his residence on Monday. Doctors diagnosed him with cancer following medical examinations after a road accident last year, and he publicly revealed his illness in May this year during an event in Newcastle.

Keegan began his professional career with Scunthorpe United and played nearly 600 league matches for various clubs. He was instrumental in Liverpool's success during the 1970s, helping the club win three First Division titles. While playing for Hamburg, he won the prestigious Ballon d'Or award twice consecutively. He also scored 21 goals in 63 appearances for England, captained the national team, and served as England manager between 1999 and 2000.
