The International Volleyball Federation FIVB has revoked the eight month temporary recognition granted to the Indian Volleyball Federation Volleyball Federation of India. The decision comes amid ongoing issues such as internal conflicts, financial difficulties, and alleged political interference within the federation.
FIVB stated that factors like political influence in player selection and lack of proper training facilities led to this action. The move comes shortly after two senior players reportedly walked out of a national training camp in Ahmedabad, protesting against coaching standards. The development marks another setback for Indian volleyball administration.
