The jersey launch event for Elite Cricket League (ECL) Season 2, organized under the aegis of the Chamala Foundation, was held in a grand manner on Wednesday at a hotel on Bandar Road. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Visakhapatnam this March. State Ministers Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, Kondapalli Srinivas, Vasamsetti Subhash, and television actor Prabhakar attended the event as chief guests and formally unveiled the tournament jerseys.
Speaking on the occasion, Sports Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy said the league was being organized with inspiration from the government’s P4 model and highlighted the state’s ongoing development initiatives over the last 18 months. Industries Minister Kondapalli Srinivas appreciated Chamala Foundation’s efforts toward soldiers’ welfare and expressed confidence that the Political Team would emerge victorious this season. Minister Vasamsetti Subhash emphasized the importance of promoting sports with a service-oriented approach. Chamala Foundation Chairman Chamala Uday Chander Reddy stated that after the successful Season 1 in Hyderabad, Season 2 will be conducted in Visakhapatnam with six teams, and the proceeds will be utilized for soldiers’ welfare and the development of underprivileged families.
